The Dual Sensor Liquid Nitrogen Level Controller automatically controls the liquid nitrogen level between two sensors, a high and low sensor. When the liquid level drops below the lower sensor, the unit will activate the solenoid and start to fill the trap. After the liquid nitrogen rises above the upper sensor the solenoid is deactivated, stopping the LN2 fill cycle. |
| This controller automatically fills for an adjustable time interval. When the liquid nitrogen level drops below the sensor, the controller will activate solenoid and start the LN2 fill cycle. As the level begins to rise, and cools the sensor, the timer will start. The 0 - 6 minute time interval is adjustable from a dial on the front panel. The solenoid will turn off when the timer expires. |  |

The delay fill timer controller allows for the time between fills to be controlled. The standard interval is 0 to 20 hours, other interval either longer or shorter maybe ordered. After first placing the LN2 sensor at the high level, turn on the unit. This will activate the solenoid, fill the reservoir and then start the timer When the time cycle expires the unit will start to refill the reservior. When the liquid nitrogen comes in contact with the sensor, the solenoid will close and the timer will restart. |
The
single sensor controller activates a 110 VAC solenoid valve outlet when
the liquid nitrogen level drops and the sensor warms. The solenoid is
deactivated
when the level rises and the sensor is immersed.

| The SN2-6ADF is a user operated dewar filler that is designed for a manual start of the fill cycle and an automatic shutoff. The sensor is positioned so that it will come into contact with the liquid nitrogen when the trap is full. To operate the fill cycle, press the button located on the front panel. When the dewar is full and the sensor is immersed, the unit will automatically stop the liquid nitrogen flow. |  |

SENSOR INSTALLATION NOTES |

| Sensors work on the principals of thermal conductivity. They are internally heated to help differentiate between the gas and liquid phase of the cryogenic liquid. If they are in liquid the heat is conducted away. In gas the sensors warm up and are interpreted by the controller as being out of liquid. When mounting, the sensor tips should not come in contact with thermally conductive materials, such as steel. Also the sensor tips should not be covered with any material. |

| The JC Controls LN2 Controllers are Guaranteed for one year against defects in parts, materials, and workmanship. Any misuse or attempts to repair the controllers during the warranty period will void the warranty. No other warranties are expressed or implied. |
